Event Description

The event, hosted at SOAS Junior Common Room, aims to remember Gdeim Izik, the largest non-violent demonstration in Western Sahara, under Moroccan occupation, two years ago.

The UK premiere of the documentary ‘La-Badil: No Other Choice’, by Dominic Brown, will provide the audience with an insight vision of the brutaly dismantled camp oFILMf Gdeim Izik by Moroccan forces as well as a background to the Western Sahara conflict.

The screening will be followed by a talk and discussion with different organisations invited to the event and the filmmaker.

There will be a demonstration beforehand.
